Course Description

A landscape designer, sometimes called a landscape architect, creates attractive, functional outdoor spaces for homeowners, businesses, schools and other organizations. Most landscape architects needs to hold reasonable qualification in the field. Additionally, most states require landscape designers to be licensed, which requires a validation from recognised body. According to an organization that promotes jobs in the landscape industry, landscape designers draw plans using Land CAD or by hand drawing. They contract installation staff to put in garden beds and build structures. Landscape designers may meet clients on-site to discuss the requirements of the space. To keep the business profitable, they must create project estimates and maintain budgets.

To meet their requirement, in this examination you will be assessed in basics in landscaping, CAD usage in landscaping, Tending to plants, shrubs and trees, daily schedules of watering, fertilizing when needed, spraying for pests and seasonal planting, Maintaining attractive and clean company grounds, analyzing the layout of a property, buildings and available grounds and working with the property stakeholders to develop a project plan and creating new plant beds and flower gardens, planting them for client's and deciding on the balance of annual and perennial plants and seasonal care issues.
