Course Description

Civil Engineering Technicians are responsible for the construction of various structures under the supervision of civil engineers. They are also involved in the planning and design phase of the project. In this role, they carefully study the blueprints of a given structure to determine the available space and the expected amounts of different materials required. They then draft drawings to depict the possible latheyts and share them with the engineering staff. A part of their job is to determine the standards and regulations that apply to the project. They then make sure that during the planning, designing and constructions phases, these standards and regulations are implemented.
